OOSA Digest: Kickstarter/NYCC Edition
First off, the kaBOOMbox: Volume 1 kickstarter is 90% funded with less than $1000 to go thanks to all of you cool cats out there backing the project. We only have a short while to reach our goal, but I’m confident we’ll get there. We’re adding new incentives all of the time, too. Did you see the new retailer backer levels and the new Jack London books from Greg Ruth? Go take a look!
And speaking of looks, here is a preview of Andrew Maclean’s comic for the kaBOOMbox anthology featuring his character Daruma.
Toby Cypress also has an early peek of a pinup for the kaBOOMbox featuring his characters Kursk and Rebella.
Now on to the New York Comic Con.
Greg Ruth will be at the Kickstarter booth (N407) during the weekend promoting the kaBOOMbox anthology, as well as talking about his crowd-funded book The 52 Weeks Project.
Ming Doyle will also be at the NYCC this weekend (Artists Alley B2). She’s already done her pre-show commissions, but she’ll have lots of other art and stuff for sale.
And keep your eyes on the comics news sites for announcements regarding Paul Maybury’s and Logan Faerber’s newest projects that will be revealed at the con. Did you see this interview Paul did for Robot6, BTW?
Alexis Ziritt has an announcement of his own. He is one of the newest artists on The Levitation Project’s team. Congrats, man! Look for his work for them to be for sale soon.
