spx:

Just pushed out another dozen or so SPX 2014 Debut Books!
Nic Sumida, Sam Bosma, Sam Alden, Liz Prince, Liz Suburbia, Dave Plunkert, Cathy Johnson,  Kevin Czap, and Julia Wertz among others!

Although Liz won’t be at SPX this year, I’ll have copies of her new zine Cyanide Milkshake #6 at the OOSA booth. Czap Books will have copies at their booth as well.

Liz Suburbia's center spread from As You Were #1 made you freak out and demand screen-prints of it (good call). Bitch Magazine then gave us a shout-out on behalf of El Sub’s chops (probably because of the awesome female characters and sex positivity in her art) in As You Were #3.
At ComicCon last week, Fantagraphics (one of the most important comix and graphic novel publishers in the history of ever) announced they’ll be turning Suburbia’s Sacred Heart web-comic series into a graphic novel.
Here’s a behind-the-scenes peek at that from Out Of Step Arts:

We’re stupid-excited about a brand new Liz Suburbia art that we’ll be showing off next week after we get a chance to post a few up around town, with a run of 18x24 screen-prints and back-patches. Check back soon.

Keep your eyes peeled.
